LIBRARY OBJECTIVES
1
Develop collections of materials that support, enrich and satisfy the curricular and research needs, in line with the vision, mission and goals and objectives of the University of Cagayan Valley.

Select and acquire print, non-print materials and e- resources in line with the demands of the curriculum and the needs of students and organize these materials automatically for effective use.

Develop students’ skills and resourcefulness in the use of library resources in the interest of research and of self-education.

Encourage lifelong education of an individual through the library resources and conduct information drive on the resources and services of the library.

Promote the use of the library and its facilities by the academic community and general public.

Aid and instruct students, faculty and staff in the use of the library and to provide bibliographic guides to the contents of the collection.

Investigate the changing educational needs of the community and to provide access to information, programs and services.

Provide reference and research services by a variety of means, including printed materials and electronic resources

Accommodate outside researchers in line with the services of the Institution to the community.

Sustain and improve effective administration of the library encouraging innovation and creativity including the allocation and relocation of resources and the pursuit of support from external bodies for possible donation of library resources.
